Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
Meeting and greetings on arrival at Delhi’s international airport and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 – At Delhi
Morning after breakfast at the hotel commence full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi.  Old Delhi visiting Red Fort - The red sand stone walls of Lal Quila, the Red Fort extend for 2 km and vary in height from 18m on the river side to 33m on the city side. Shah Jahan started construction of the massive fort in 1638 and it was completed in 1648. The Red Fort dates from the peak of Mughal power. The Mughal reign from Delhi was a short one. Aurangzeb was the first and the last emperor to rule from here. Jama Masjid- the Great Mosque of Old Delhi was both the largest and the final architectural extravagance of Shah Jahan. Begun in 1644, the mosque was not completed until 1658. It has three gateways, four angle towers and two minarets standing 40m (133ft) high constructed of alternating vertical strips of red sandstone and white marble. The courtyard of the mosque can hold 25,000 people. Take a rickshaw ride to Chandni Chowk - the main street of Old Delhi - the colourful shopping bazaar just opposite the Red Fort and visit Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi after his assassination in 1948.

New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar – 234 feet high tower. The Qutab Minar itself is a soaring tower of victory that was started in 1193, immediately after the defeat of the last Hindu kingdom in Delhi. It is nearly 73m(243ft) high and tapers from a 15m(50ft) diameter base to just 2.5m(9ft) at the top. The tower has five distinct storeys, each marked by a projecting balcony. The first three storeys are made of red sandstone, the fourth and the fifth of marble & sandstone. Also visit the Tomb of Mughal Emperor Humayun. Built in the mid-16th century by Haji Begum, the Persian-born senior wife of Humayun, the second Mughal emperor, this is a wonderful early example of Mughal architecture. The elements in its design – a squat building, high arched entrances that let in light, topped by a bulbous dome and surrounded by formal gardens – were to be refined over the years to the magnificence of the Taj Mahal in Agra. Drive past India Gate (War Memorial), President’s House, which was once the Viceroy’s Palace, Parliament House and Secretariat buildings.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 - Delhi to Haridwar
Morning after breafkast at the hotel proceed to Haridwar and check in at the hotel on arrival. Afternoon visit Har Ki Pauri ghat once again to attend aarti / pooja etc.  Later proceed to Rishikesh for day excursion. During your Rishikesh tour you will visit Raksham Jhula, Ram Jhula, Geeta Bhawan, Raghunath Temple and Triveni Ghat. Later return to Haridwar for overnight stay at HOTEL.
Evening attend aarti at har ki pauri.  Overnight at the hotel.

Haridwar is considered very holy, as this is the point from where the Ganges emerges from the Himalayas to begin its slow progress across the plains. The main ghat 'Har ki Pauri' (the footsteps of God) is suppose to be the precise spot where the Ganges leaves the mountains and enters the plains. Consequently the river's power to wash away sins at this spot is superlative and endorsed by a footprint of Vishnu left on a stone here.

Day 04 : Haridwar / Uttarkashi Drive 6-7 Hrs.
Early morning drive to Uttarkashi. Arrive and transfer to river side nature Resort. Remaining day to Relax and to acclimatize. Dinner and overnight river side resort

Morning after breakfast we commands our trek further to Bhojbasa via Chirbasa (3600mt). From Gangotri we move along the beaten track towards chirbasa, which is on treeline. The entire trek today is along the roaring bhagirathi river. Beyond chirbasa the terrain becomes really desolate and barren. In fact, it has been reffered to as Artic Tundra by many trekkers. From chirbasa we trek further to Bhoibasa, the entire trail passes through dense forest, Arrive Bhojbasa , there is a small temple and a potential campsite near down the river. We make our camp near river side. Afternoon free to explore the area and to enjoy excellent sunset on Bhagirathi group of peaks. Dinner and overnight in tents.

Gomukh is where the water of Ganga trickle down from the glaciers. The sages called it 'Gomukh', because in the distant past, it probably appeared like a cow's mouth. Explore the area and trek to Tapovan, one of the finest high altitude alpine meadows in the area. The trek from Gomukh to Tapovan is ascent steep, and as we climb, the view of the surrounding peaks become clearer. The appear to be just a stone's throw away. Tapovan known for its beautiful meadows that encircle the base camp of the Shivling peak, Tapovan is a very pleasant surprised spot with a large meadow complete with bubbling streams, wildflowers and campsides. Herds of Bharal (blue mountain goats) is a common sight from here on mountain ridges. On the far side of the glacier the Bhagarithi I ,II , III (6454mt), provide an equally impressive backdrop. It is also the little wonder where Sadhus and saints choose this spot for extended medition during the long summer month. Arrive Tapovan and camp. Dinner and overnight camp.

Day 08 : Free to acclimatize,
Relax and enjoy the magnificent snow clapped peaks , flora & Fauna and mountain landscape.

Day 09 : Tapovan / Nandan Van Trek 4-5 Hrs.

From Gomukh turn towards Nandanvan (4340m) and steering on right one will be on top of the Gangotri glacier. The glacier runs between two ranges and the landslides make a layer of rockey moraine on the ice which makes the walking easier. The glacier walk is very slippery and a slight lack of concentration would be dangerous. Huge crevasses gaped here and there. After a walking for about a kilometer there is a vertical ascent. Big rocks enroute offer grips and foot - holds but many of them are deceptive too. O/N Camp.
